Biography
Matthew Gray is a British film and television editor. He studied philosophy of film at Leeds University and began his career as a runner at Yorkshire Television, where he gained editing experience over two or three years before going freelance.
He has worked extensively with director Shane Meadows at Warp Films, editing This Is England ’90 (2015) and The Virtues (2019). His other credits include The Responder (2022), Bad Sisters (2022) and A Spy Among Friends (2022). He has received one win and three nominations for his editing work.
