Biography
Matthew Hodgson is an American television writer and producer. He was born in 1982 and raised in Stow, Massachusetts. He graduated from Ithaca College.
Hodgson began his career in Los Angeles in 2006 as a production assistant on Nip/Tuck. He later served as assistant to Ryan Murphy before working as script coordinator and then writer on Glee (2009). He has written episodes of 9-1-1 (2018) and co-created, wrote and executive produced the series The Beauty (2026) with Murphy. He has also worked on American Sports Story and American Horror Stories.
