Biography

Alexis Martin Woodall is an American television producer, executive producer and director. She began her career as a post-production assistant on Ryan Murphy's Nip/Tuck and rose through the ranks to become producer on its final season. She has since served as executive producer on numerous Ryan Murphy projects, including Glee (2009), American Horror Story (2011), American Crime Story (2016) and Pose (2018).

In 2019 Woodall was appointed president of Ryan Murphy Productions. She has executive produced 9-1-1 (2018), Ratched (2020), DAHMER – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story (2022) and 9-1-1: Lone Star (2020). Woodall has also directed episodes of American Horror Stories (2021), Grotesquerie (2024) and The Beauty (2026). She received three Primetime Emmy Awards for her producing work.
