Biography
Max Mayer is an American film and television director. He is a founding member of New York Stage and Film and holds an MFA from New York University.
Mayer directed episodes of the television series The West Wing (2005) and Alias (2004), as well as episodes of Family Law. He wrote and directed the feature film Adam (2009), which won the Alfred P. Sloan Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, and directed As Cool as I Am (2013). Earlier credits include directing and writing Better Living (1998).
