Biography
Megan Ganz is an American writer and producer. She graduated with honours from the University of Michigan in 2006, where she served as editor-in-chief of the satirical newspaper The Every Three Weekly. She later worked as an associate editor at The Onion before moving into television writing.
Ganz wrote for the NBC series Community from 2010 to 2013. She joined the writing staff of Modern Family in 2013, serving as supervising producer and co-executive producer until 2015; the series won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series during her tenure. She has been a writer and executive producer on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia since 2017 and co-created the Apple TV+ series Mythic Quest (2020) with Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day.
