Biography
Melissa Villaseñor is an American comedian, actress and voice artist. Born on 9 October 1987 in Whittier, California, she began performing stand-up comedy at the age of 15 and appeared as a contestant on the sixth season of America's Got Talent in 2011.
She joined the cast of Saturday Night Live in 2016 as its first Latina cast member and remained for six seasons until 2022. Villaseñor has provided voices for animated films including Taffyta Muttonfudge in Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018) and Karen Beverly in Toy Story 4 (2019). She is credited as the voice of Ellen in the 2026 film Hoppers.
