Biography
Mentor Huebner (19 July 1917 – 19 March 2001) was an American production illustrator, storyboard artist and production designer. He contributed conceptual art, storyboards and production illustrations to more than 250 feature films.
His early work included uncredited contributions to Forbidden Planet (1956), on which he is also credited as production designer. Later credits include Blade Runner (1982), The Thing (1982), Total Recall (1990) and DragonHeart (1996). He taught at the Chouinard Art Institute and exhibited his own landscape, seascape and portrait paintings in numerous solo shows.
