Biography
Michael Cristofer is an American actor, playwright, screenwriter and director. Born on 22 January 1945 in Trenton, New Jersey, he began his career as a stage actor before turning to writing. He received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play for his 1977 work The Shadow Box.
Cristofer has written screenplays for films including The Witches of Eastwick (1987) and The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990). He directed the television film Gia (1998). As an actor, his credits include Phillip Price in Mr. Robot (2015–2019) and Elder Cleric Quintus in the series Fallout (2024).
