Biography
Michael L. Sale is a film editor whose credits include Bridesmaids (2011), The Hangover Part II (2011), We're the Millers (2013), Central Intelligence (2016), Get Hard (2015), Skyscraper (2018), Red Notice (2021) and Black Adam (2022). He has frequently collaborated with director Rawson Marshall Thurber.
Sale began his career in television, working as an assistant editor on series including L.A. Law, Northern Exposure and The Wonder Years, and later editing episodes of Judging Amy. His feature work includes additional editing on Superbad (2007) and I Love You, Man (2009). He received an American Cinema Editors Eddie Award nomination for Bridesmaids and was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2016.
