Biography
Michael Pataki was an American character actor of stage, film and television. Born on 16 January 1938 in Youngstown, Ohio, he attended the University of Southern California, where he studied political science and drama. His professional career began in 1958 and continued until his death on 15 April 2010 in North Hollywood, California.
Pataki appeared in numerous films and television series. He played Nicoli Koloff in Rocky IV (1985) and returned to the role via archive footage in Rocky V (1990). Other film credits include Easy Rider (1969), The Onion Field (1979) and Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988). On television he portrayed Korax in the Star Trek episode "The Trouble with Tribbles" (1967) and Karnas in Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987). He also provided the voice of the Sewer King in Batman: The Animated Series (1992).
