Biography
Michael Peyser is a film producer and former studio executive. His credits include producer on Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997), Hackers (1995) and The Warrior's Way (2010), executive producer on Matilda (1996) and U2 3D (2007), and earlier roles as associate producer and production manager on several Woody Allen films including Zelig (1983), Broadway Danny Rose (1984) and The Purple Rose of Cairo (1985).
He began his career as a production assistant on Hair (1979) and worked as unit production manager on Manhattan (1979). Peyser was a founding senior vice-president of Hollywood Pictures at The Walt Disney Studios and later a tenured professor at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where he taught producing and digital media.
