Biography
Michael Pitt, also credited as Michael Carmen Pitt, is an American actor, model and musician. He was born on 10 April 1981 in West Orange, New Jersey.
Pitt began his career with roles in films such as Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001), Bully (2001) and Murder by Numbers (2002). He gained wider recognition for his performances in The Dreamers (2003), Last Days (2005) and Funny Games (2007). On television he appeared as Henry Parker in Dawson's Creek (1999–2000) and as Jimmy Darmody in Boardwalk Empire (2010–2011). He played Mason Verger in the second season of Hannibal (2014). Later film credits include I Origins (2014) and Ghost in the Shell (2017). Pitt has also performed as a singer and guitarist with the band Pagoda.
