Biography
Michael Rowe is an American television writer, producer and comedian. He began his career as a stand-up comic in New York before writing jokes for Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update and sketches for various comedy programmes.
Rowe has written for live-action sitcoms including Becker (1998–2004), The Nanny (1993–1999) and 2 Broke Girls (2011–2017), as well as animated series such as Family Guy (1999–), Futurama (1999–2013) and Brickleberry (2012–2013). On Futurama he contributed episodes including "Bend Her" and served as co-executive producer during the series' later seasons and films.
In 2011 he won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program for his work on the Futurama episode "The Late Philip J. Fry".
