Biography
David A. Goodman is an American television writer and producer. Born on 13 December 1962 in New Rochelle, New York, he graduated from the University of Chicago with a BA in 1984. His first writing job was as a story editor on the series The Golden Girls (1986–1989).
Goodman later worked on Futurama (2002–2003, 2023) as a writer and co-executive producer, contributing the episode "Where No Fan Has Gone Before". He has written for Family Guy, Star Trek: Enterprise and The Orville, and served as president of the Writers Guild of America West from 2017 to 2021. He has also written several books set in the Star Trek universe.
