Biography
Swinton O. Scott III is an American animator, storyboard artist and director. Born on 31 October 1956 in California, he began working in animation in the 1980s and contributed to numerous television series.
He worked on The Simpsons in multiple roles from the first season through season ten, serving as layout artist, assistant director and director of seven episodes between 1995 and 1999. He has also directed episodes of Futurama, Family Guy, The Looney Tunes Show and What's New, Scooby-Doo?, and made his feature-film debut directing the 2021 animated adaptation of Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
Scott won a Primetime Emmy Award for his work as a timer on the Camp Lazlo special 'Where's Lazlo?'.
