Biography
Michael Shaeffer is an English television and stage actor. He was born on 21 January 1975 in Brockley, London, and trained at Rose Bruford College.
He is known for playing Richard Longcross in the BBC series Bodyguard (2018). Other television credits include roles in Black Mirror (2013), The ABC Murders (2018), The Salisbury Poisonings (2020), Game of Thrones (2011) and Chernobyl (2019). Film appearances include Kingdom of Heaven (2005), Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016) and the 2000 adaptation of Jesus Christ Superstar.
