Michael Talbott is an American actor. He was born on 2 February 1955 in Waverly, Iowa.

He is best known for portraying Detective Stanley Switek in the television series Miami Vice (1984–1989). His film roles include Freddy in Carrie (1976), Deputy Balford in First Blood (1982), Cowboy in National Lampoon's Vacation (1983), and Geehan in Manhunter (1986). He has also appeared in MASH* and other television series.
