Biography

Mike Gioulakis is an American cinematographer. Born on 17 September 1982 in Plantation, Florida, he studied at Florida State University, where he earned a BFA.

He is known for his collaborations with directors David Robert Mitchell on It Follows (2014) and Under the Silver Lake (2018), M. Night Shyamalan on Split (2016), Glass (2019) and Old (2021), and Jordan Peele on Us (2019). His other credits include John Dies at the End (2012), The Eyes of Tammy Faye (2021), Reptile (2023), Sasquatch Sunset (2024) and The Piano Lesson (2024). He served as director of photography on The End of Oak Street (2026). Gioulakis joined the American Society of Cinematographers in 2022.
