Biography
Miranda Raison is a British actress. She was born on 18 November 1977 in Burnham Thorpe, Norfolk, England, and trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. She is the daughter of a former Anglia Television newsreader and a jazz pianist.
Raison's breakthrough role was as Jo Portman in the BBC series Spooks (2005–2009). She has appeared in films including Match Point (2005), My Week with Marilyn (2011) and Murder on the Orient Express (2017), and in television series such as Doctor Who (2007), 24 (2014) and Warrior (2019–). On stage she originated the title role in Howard Brenton's Anne Boleyn at Shakespeare's Globe.
