Biography
Mitsuhisa Ishikawa is a Japanese anime producer and studio executive. He co-founded the animation studio Production I.G in 1987 with Takayuki Goto and has served as its president and CEO; he is currently chairman of the company and president of its parent IG Port.
He produced the 1995 film Ghost in the Shell and its 2004 sequel Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence, as well as Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion (1997) and Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death and Rebirth (1997). He was executive producer on Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) and has worked on titles including Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade (1999), Attack on Titan (2013) and Haikyu!! (2014).
Ishikawa was born on 30 October 1958 in Hachiōji, Tokyo.
