Biography
Murray Moston (1919–1998) was an American actor. Born in New York City on 12 June 1919, he appeared in numerous films and television series, often in small supporting roles.
He is best known for his work in five films directed by Martin Scorsese, including Mean Streets (1973) as Oscar, Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore (1974) as Jacobs, Taxi Driver (1976) as Iris' Time Keeper, New York, New York (1977) as Horace Morris, and After Hours (1985) as a subway attendant. He also appeared in Saturday Night Fever (1977) as a haberdashery salesman and Smoke (1995) as a waiter. Moston collaborated with actor Harvey Keitel on seven films.
