Biography
Nancy Forner is a film and television editor. She began her career in the late 1970s as a production assistant and assistant editor on features including Dead & Buried (1981), Revenge of the Nerds (1984) and Better Off Dead... (1985). She received her first editing credit on Return to Horror High (1987).
Forner edited 13 episodes of the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1998–2000). Her other television credits include Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Providence, The Vampire Diaries, Mistresses and Witches of East End. She is a member of the American Cinema Editors and has taught editing at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where she holds the Michael Kahn Endowed Chair in Editing.
