Biography
Nicholas Hicks-Beach is a British television writer, also credited as Nick Hicks-Beach. Born on 6 October 1960, he has written extensively for long-running series including EastEnders (1995–2012).
His other credits include multiple episodes of Midsomer Murders (2018–2022), Lewis (2014–2015), DCI Banks (2015–2016), and Law & Order: UK (2011–2014). He created the series Rockface (2002–2003) and wrote the screenplay for the film Letters from a Killer (1998). In 2025 he adapted Murder Before Evensong for television.
