Biography
Jennie Darnell is a British television director. She trained at Royal Holloway and Bedford New College, the University of Sheffield, and completed a year-long Training and Directing Bursary with the Regional Theatre Young Director Scheme. In 2017 she participated in the Directors UK High End TV Drama Programme Scheme.
Her credits include directing 95 episodes of EastEnders (2007–2018), 19 episodes of Holby City (2011–2019), three episodes of Line of Duty series 6 (2021), episodes of Death in Paradise (2019), Midsomer Murders (2019), Hetty Feather (2018), Trigger Point (2022), Payback (2023) and The Chelsea Detective (2024). She has also directed theatre productions including work at the Watford Palace Theatre, Plymouth Theatre Royal and Hampstead Theatre.
