Biography
Nick Emerson is a Northern Irish film editor. He began his career in television news in Northern Ireland, working for the BBC and others around the time of the Good Friday Agreement, before moving into documentaries and then feature films.
Emerson edited Conclave (2024), for which he received an Academy Award nomination and won the BAFTA Award for Best Editing. His other credits include Eileen (2023), Emma. (2020), Lady Macbeth (2016), Starred Up (2014) and I Am Not a Serial Killer (2016), for which he won an IFTA Award.
