Biography

Nicolas De Toth is an American film editor. He is the son of the Hungarian-born director André De Toth.

De Toth began working as an assistant editor in the early 1990s. His first solo editing credits include Bicentennial Man (1999) and The Sum of All Fears (2002). He has since edited numerous action and science-fiction films, including Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003), Live Free or Die Hard (2007), X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), Stoker (2013), The Commuter (2018) and Gunpowder Milkshake (2021).

More recent credits include three episodes of the series Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022) and Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025). He has received three award nominations.
