Biography

Noelle Valdivia is an American television writer and playwright. She graduated from New York University and worked as a journalist and playwright until 2012, writing stage productions including Oh, William (2003), Ring of Fire (2004) and Where It Went Wrong (2006).

She began her television career on the NBC series Awake (2012), writing three episodes. Valdivia wrote for season two of Smash (2013) and contributed to the first season of Masters of Sex (2013), for which the writing team received a Writers Guild of America nomination for Best New Series. Subsequent credits include Marco Polo (2014), Ash vs Evil Dead (2015–2016), Happy! (2017–2019), Goliath (2016–2018), Everything Sucks! (2018), Kevin Can Fk Himself (2021), The Penguin (2024) and Nobody Wants This (2024). She has served as a producer on several series and received Primetime Emmy nominations for The Penguin and Nobody Wants This.
