Biography

Jennifer Getzinger is an American television and film director. She began her career as a script supervisor on films including Requiem for a Dream (2000) and television series such as Sex and the City and The Sopranos, before transitioning to directing.

She made her episodic directorial debut on Mad Men (2007), directing ten episodes between 2008 and 2015. She has since directed episodes of series including Suits (2011), Desperate Housewives (2004), Orange Is the New Black (2013), Westworld (2016), Outlander (2014), Marvel's Daredevil (2015), Marvel's Jessica Jones (2015), Marvel's Agent Carter (2015), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999) and The Penguin (2024). She received three Directors Guild of America Award nominations for her work on Mad Men.
