Biography
Noreen Kershaw is an English actress and television director. She was born on 16 October 1950 in Bury, Lancashire. She trained at the Manchester Polytechnic School of Theatre and originated the title role in the play Shirley Valentine at Liverpool's Everyman Theatre.
Kershaw appeared as Phyllis Dobbs in the BBC series Life on Mars (2006–2007). Her other acting credits include Kathy Roach in Brookside (1988–1990) and Joyce Wilson in Watching (1991–1993). She has directed episodes of Coronation Street, Shameless, Emmerdale, Heartbeat, Call the Midwife and Ridley, as well as the feature film Act of Grace (2008).
