Biography
Norman Buckley is an American television director and editor. Born on 25 November 1955 in Limestone, Maine, he began his career as an assistant editor on feature films including Tender Mercies (1983) and later worked as an editor on television series such as Fastlane and The O.C..
He transitioned to directing with episodes of The O.C. (2003) and went on to direct multiple episodes of Chuck (2007), Gossip Girl (2007), Pretty Little Liars (2010), Rizzoli & Isles (2010), Jane the Virgin (2014), Quantico (2015) and Zoo (2015), among many others. He also served as co-executive producer and producing director on Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists (2019) and Sweet Magnolias.
Buckley won an American Cinema Editors award in 2008 for editing the pilot of Chuck and has been nominated for further ACE awards. He is the brother of actress Betty Buckley.
