Biography
O-Lan Jones is an American actress. She was born on 23 May 1950 in Los Angeles, California.
She played Esmeralda in Edward Scissorhands (1990) and has appeared in other films including Mars Attacks! (1996), Natural Born Killers (1994) and The Truman Show (1998). On television she played Rose McLaughlin in the series Harts of the West (1993–1994) and has had guest roles in The X-Files, Seinfeld, Shameless and Community.
Jones began her career in experimental theatre in New York in the late 1960s and is an alumna of New Dramatists. She was married to playwright Sam Shepard from 1969 to 1984.
