Biography
Oliver Chris is an English actor. He was born on 7 November 1978 in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent, and trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
His television credits include The Office (2001), Green Wing (2004–2006), The IT Crowd (2006), Bluestone 42 (2013–2015), The Crown (2016) and Trying (2020–). Film roles encompass Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004), Emma. (2020), Dolittle (2020) and Living (2022). He plays James Vereker in the series Rivals (2024–).
On stage he has appeared in productions at the National Theatre and in the West End, including One Man, Two Guvnors and King Charles III, the latter also transferring to Broadway. He has also written for the theatre.
