Biography
Osgood Perkins is an American filmmaker and actor. Born in New York City on 2 February 1974, he is the son of actor Anthony Perkins. He began his career as a child actor, appearing as the young Norman Bates in Psycho II (1983) and later in films including Legally Blonde (2001) and Star Trek (2009).
Perkins made his directorial debut with the horror film The Blackcoat's Daughter (2015). He has since written and directed several horror features, including I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House (2016), Gretel & Hansel (2020) and Longlegs (2024), on which he is also credited with music. He co-founded the production company Phobos with producer Chris Ferguson.
