Biography
Paul Butterworth is a British actor. He trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama from 1974 to 1977 and later completed a BA in Combined Studies at Leeds Beckett University in 1988.
His screen credits include Barry in The Full Monty (1997), Michael Ellacott in the series Strike (2018–2020), Richard in Allelujah (2022), and Mr Jarvis in Anemone (2025). He is a full voting member of BAFTA and is based in Cambridgeshire.
Alongside acting, Butterworth maintains a painting practice and completed a BA (Hons) in Painting at the University for the Creative Arts in 2024.
