Biography
Paul Shenar, also credited as Albert Paul Shenar, was an American actor. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on 12 February 1936, he died in West Hollywood, California, on 11 October 1989.
A veteran of the Broadway stage, Shenar was one of the founding members of the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco in 1965, where he performed, directed and taught. He appeared in numerous stage productions, including Shakespearean roles.
Shenar is best known for his film roles as Alejandro Sosa in Scarface (1983), Jenner (voice) in The Secret of NIMH (1982), Paulo Rocca in Raw Deal (1986) and Dr Laurence in The Big Blue (1988). His television credits include appearances in Roots (1977), Columbo, Wonder Woman, The Bionic Woman, Hawaii Five-O and Kojak.
