Biography
Payman Benz is an Iranian-born television director, producer and writer based in Los Angeles. He is credited as director on episodes of The Good Place (2016) and Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013).
Benz began his career directing segments for late-night and sketch programmes including Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Key & Peele. He has since directed episodes of comedy series such as The Last Man on Earth (2015), A.P. Bio (2018), Who Is America? (2018), Black Monday (2019) and Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty (2022). He has also directed commercials.
