Biography
Pedro Armendáriz Jr. was a Mexican actor. Born Pedro Armendáriz Bohr in Mexico City on 6 April 1940, he was the son of the actor Pedro Armendáriz. He appeared in more than 200 films and television productions in Mexico and the United States from the 1960s onwards.
His credits include Licence to Kill (1989) as President Hector Lopez, Tombstone (1993), Amistad (1997), The Mask of Zorro (1998), The Mexican (2001), Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003) and The Legend of Zorro (2005). He won two Ariel Awards: Best Actor for Mina, Wind of Freedom (1977) and Best Supporting Actor for Herod's Law (1999).
Armendáriz died of eye cancer on 26 December 2011 in New York City, aged 71.
