Biography
Pete Townshend is an English musician, guitarist and songwriter, principally known as a founding member of the rock band The Who. He appears in numerous concert and documentary films, credited as an actor or as himself.
Born in Chiswick, London, he has contributed to films including Woodstock (1970), Monterey Pop (1968), Tommy (1975) and The Who: The Kids Are Alright (1979). He is also credited on television series such as The Simpsons (1989).
