Biography
Peter Baldwin (1931–2017) was an American television director and former actor. He began his career as a contract player at Paramount Studios and appeared in films including Stalag 17 (1953). He later worked as an assistant director to Vittorio De Sica in Italy before returning to the United States to direct television.
Baldwin directed episodes of numerous sitcoms, including The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970), The Brady Bunch, The Partridge Family, Happy Days, Family Ties, ALF, Full House, Family Matters, The Love Boat and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. He won a Primetime Emmy Award for directing an episode of The Wonder Years.
