Biography

Peter Jamison, also credited as Peter M. Jamison or Peter Michael Jamison, was an American production designer and art director. Born on 27 August 1944 in Oregon, he died on 15 October 2010 in Venice, California. He began his career with a grant from the American Film Institute and apprenticed with production designer Jack Fisk. He later served as art director on Roger Corman’s Big Bad Mama and worked on more than three dozen films over three decades.

Jamison’s production design credits include Point Break (1991), RoboCop 2 (1990), Weekend at Bernie’s (1989), Howard the Duck (1986), Empire Records (1995), The Beverly Hillbillies (1993), Body Snatchers (1993), Jeepers Creepers 2 (2003) and Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982). As an art director, he contributed to Mulholland Drive (2001). He also produced the feature Bob’s New Suit (2011).
