Biography

Peter Jessop (1930–2025) was a British cinematographer. He was born in Cambridgeshire, England, and worked primarily in British film and television from the 1960s onwards.

He served as director of photography on episodes of the television series The Avengers (1961) in 1968–1969. His other credits include Agatha Christie's Poirot (1989), Jeeves and Wooster (1990), Reilly: Ace of Spies (1983), G.B.H. (1991) and the films The Monster Club (1981), Frightmare (1974), House of Whipcord (1974) and House of Mortal Sin (1976). He received two BAFTA Award nominations.
