Biography
Peter S. Davis was an American film producer. He began his career as a Wall Street lawyer before moving to Hollywood in 1977. With longtime partner Bill Panzer, he founded Davis-Panzer Productions, which produced more than 17 feature films and 150 hours of television.
Davis produced The Death Collector (1976), Stunts (1977), The Osterman Weekend (1983) and Cutting Class (1989). He is best known for Highlander (1986), which he helped develop from a screenplay by Gregory Widen and which launched a franchise of sequels, a television series and related media. He died on 21 February 2021 at his home in Calabasas, California.
