Biography
Peter Sullivan is an English actor. Born on 26 July 1964 in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, he joined the National Youth Theatre at 17 and trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama. He later studied in New York under Uta Hagen and joined the Catalan theatre group La Fura dels Baus.
Sullivan has maintained a long association with the National Theatre in London. His screen credits include Vasilov in The Jackal (1997), Karl Eberhard Schöngarth in Conspiracy (2001), Cardinal Ascanio Sforza in The Borgias (2011), Ralph Hanson in Poldark (2015), Inspector Roberts in The Limehouse Golem (2016) and Christopher Epps in A Good Girl's Guide to Murder (2024). He appeared as Geoff Moss in the series Nathan Barley (2005) and as John in The IT Crowd (2006).
