Biography
Rachel Springett is a British television and film producer and commissioner. Born on 1 December 1977 in Southampton, Hampshire, she began her career at Objective Productions, where she produced series including Toast of London (2012–2015), Meet the Parents (2010–2012) and episodes of Peep Show (2003).
She later worked as a comedy commissioner at Channel 4 for six years, overseeing first series from writers and performers such as Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Crashing, 2016), Michaela Coel (Chewing Gum, 2015) and others. Springett served as executive producer on the feature film The Festival (2018). She is a multi-BAFTA award winner and has founded Maia Pictures.
