Biography
Rae Sanchini is an American film producer. She joined James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment in 1992 and served as president of the company from 1993, overseeing film production, financing and strategic planning.
She worked as executive producer on True Lies (1994), Strange Days (1995) and Titanic (1997). Sanchini produced the 2002 film Solaris, directed by Steven Soderbergh. She also contributed to the television series Dark Angel (2000–2002) and returned to executive producer roles on the True Lies television series (2023) and Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025).
Sanchini holds a joint JD/MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles, awarded in 1987. She previously worked as an executive at Carolco Pictures.
