Biography
Ramon Tikaram is a British actor. Born in Singapore on 16 May 1967, he attended the Duke of York's Royal Military School and studied English at the University of Kent, where he began acting.
He is known for playing Ferdinand "Ferdy" Garcia in the BBC series This Life (1996–1997) and Qadim Shah in the BBC One soap EastEnders (2009–2012). Other television roles include appearances in Pennyworth (2019–2022) and Brassic (2019–2024). Film credits include Jupiter Ascending (2015), Vampire Academy (2014) and Mutiny (2026), in which he played Tibu Campallo.
Tikaram has also worked in musical theatre, including as Judas in the West End production of Jesus Christ Superstar (1997–1998) and as the King of Siam in a UK tour of The King and I.
