Biography
Rashaad Ernesto Green is an American director and screenwriter. Born in the Bronx, New York, in 1978, he graduated from Dartmouth College and later earned a master's degree from the NYU Tisch Graduate Film School after initially studying acting.
Green wrote and directed the feature films Gun Hill Road (2011), which premiered at Sundance, and Premature (2019), for which he received the Film Independent Spirit Award for Someone to Watch. His television directing credits include episodes of Grimm (2014), Supernatural (2015), The Vampire Diaries (2016), Marvel's Luke Cage (2018) and Looking for Alaska (2019).
