Biography
J. Miller Tobin is an American television director and producer. Born John Miller Tobin on 13 January 1961 in Hutchinson County, Texas, he began his career in the late 1980s working as an assistant director on feature films including Fresh (1994) and The 24 Hour Woman (1999).
As a director, Tobin has worked on numerous television series, including Oz (1997), The Agency, Numb3rs, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (2008), Supernatural, Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars, The Mentalist, Criminal Minds and The Vampire Diaries (2009), on which he also served as a producer. He directed the feature film How You Look to Me (2005).
