Biography
Rebecca Rand Kirshner is an American television writer and producer. She has written under several names, including Rebecca Sinclair and Rebecca Rand Kirshner Sinclair, and currently writes as Rebecca Kirshner. She attended Harvard University, where she was an editor and artist on the Harvard Lampoon.
Her early credits include the episode 'The Diary' for Freaks and Geeks (2000) and eight episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2000–2003), on which she also served as story editor and executive story editor. She later wrote ten episodes of Gilmore Girls (2004–2007) and served as showrunner and executive producer on 90210 (2009–2011). She has also written for Las Vegas and created the children's animated series Kiri and Lou (2019).
In addition to television work, Kirshner writes children's stories and is a visual artist.
