Biography
Michael N. Grossman is an American film and television director. He began his career as an assistant director on feature films including Hide and Go Shriek (1988) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) before moving into directing television episodes from the mid-1990s.
Grossman has directed episodes of numerous series, including Earth 2 (1995), Arli$$ (1998–2002), Angel (2001–2003), Firefly (2002), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2003), Grey's Anatomy, Pretty Little Liars (2011–2015), Cobra Kai (2019) and Drop Dead Diva (2010–2014). He also directed the backdoor pilot for the Grey's Anatomy spin-off Private Practice and several television films such as Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh (2008) and Starstruck (2010).
